January 30, 2013 – Clearwater, FL – Friends have begun to inquire about where they can visit Clearwater, FL stabbing victim Jason Paul. “He is buried at Sylvan Abby however we don’t have a headstone yet. I’m working to pay for it and I’ll let everyone know when it’s there,” said his mother, Renee Langfritz.On January 6, Jason Paul, 22, a 2008 Dunedin High graduate, was riding his bike home from work at Sunset Point Road and U.S. 19. He stopped at Walmart and purchased some cleaning supplies. They were still strapped to his bike when his body was discovered a block from his house at 12:40 a.m. on Glenwood Avenue near Crest Lake Park.

“It’s hard enough to lose a son,” said family friend Travena Gaddy, “and to have no closure in terms of who’s ultimately responsible for his death is awful, so we just wanted to try to provide a helping hand in terms of at least establishing his final resting place.” One hundred percent of the donations will be presented to Paul’s mother to put toward the headstone and final burial expenses.

Meanwhile, Clearwater Police detectives are looking for evidence, motive and witnesses.
There are seven billboards that will feature Paul’s face and the $10,000 reward for information leading to a suspect’s arrest and conviction at intersections throughout Pinellas County.Jason Paul’s family is offering up to $10,000 in addition to Crime Stoppers $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.
